Merge DTA/PKL Files For Mascot

This is a utility for creating a single Mascot Generic Format (MGF) file in which each DTA or PKL file name is preserved as a specturm file. See the Matrix Science page for more information about Mascot Generic Fomrat.

Instructions:

• 1. Click here to delete the current contents of the temporary directory. Individual files can be deleted from the table below.
• 2. Add DTA (or PKL) files using the Java applet below. Click on the 'Add Files' button and add NO MORE THAN 100 FILES AT A TIME.
• 3. Click 'Upload Files' button to transfer files to the temporary directory. When the files are finished uploading, you should get a pop-up box declaring that all files were successfully uploaded. Repeat steps 2 & 3 until all files are uploaded. To see what files have already been uploaded, reload this page, and scroll down to the bottom of the page.
• 4. Click here to merge .dta or .pkl files. This will redirect you to another page.
• 5. Click on the merge.mgf link and save the merged file on your local computer.

Be sure to use 'Mascot generic' as the data format when using the merged file as input.
